  • Sat - 7/26(7AM) - Mount Olivet Worship Center in Hutchinson will be having a huge, multi-family church parking lot sale rain or shine. Mount Olivet Worship Center is located number 18, 17th Crestview in Hutchinson. For information call 620-728-1400.

  • Sat - 7/26(10AM) - Historic Old Abilene Town will be presenting the fourth annual National Day of the Cowboy.There will be entertainment and activities throughout the day including train rides, a gunfight, music, an ice cream social, an evening movie and many more. Donations will be collected for admission and the funds will go towards the restoration of Old Abilene Town. For information call 785-263-2681.

  • Sun - 7/27(9:30AM) - Lebo Biker Sunday will be at Lebo Baptist Church, 420 North Maple Street in Emporia. Activities start at 9:30 a.m. and lunch will be provided. For information call David Claridge at 620-757-6252.

  • Sun - 7/27(6PM) - From Saline to Helen an unplugged benefit. Featuring artists Matt Allison, Cash Hollista, and Kelley B. Admission is free and a love offering will be taken to help the community of Helene, Honduras. The concert will be held at Mokas, 109 N. Santa Fe, in Salina

  • Tue - 7/29(8-8PM) - A free community celebration sponsored by the Saline County Healthy Community-Healthy Youth initiative is designed to provide free or reduced price meals for those that pre-register on July 29th. Registration will take place at Trinity Lutheran Church, located at 9th and Crawford. For information call Janet Callarman at Salina Area United Way 827-1312.

  • Tue - 7/29(6:30PM) - You're invited to the McPherson Aglow Lighthouse, at the Perkins Restaurant, 2111 East Kansas in McPherson. Kathryn Little will be sharing. She, and her husband of 51 years, live on a farm near where he grew up. They have 3 grown children, 7 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. Her greatest wish is to be available and fulfill the plan God has for her life. The meal starts at 6:30PM in the Navajo Room. Cost is $7.25 you can also just come at 7:30 pm for the Meeting & Speaker. Please let them know in advance when you call Marjorie Unruh at 620-755-4612 by Friday July 25th to reserve your seat.

  • Thu - 7/31(Noon) - New Community Christian Church located at 530 East Cloud in Salina is having city wide prayer gatherings.The prayer meetings start at noon on the first, third and firth Thursday of the month through November 6th.   • Thu - 7/31(6PM) - The Chapman FFA pork Bar-b-q feed will be after the parade at the large livestock area. Tickets can be bought from FFA members for five dollars each. The meal includes a pork burger, beans, chips ice cream and a drink.

  • Sat - 8/2(8AM) - The Dickenson County Back to School Fair will be August 2nd from 8 to 11 a.m. at the Abilene Community Center, 1020 NW 8th Street in Abilene.The fair will provide informational resources for children and their families. There will be fun games and entertainment and some free school supplies. For more information contact the Quality of Life Coalition, who is sponsoring the fair at 785-263-1550.
